About Carol
In many ways, my life has not followed a conventional trajectory. My background is eclectic – science, art, business. At times it seems I have lived my life backwards – studying the esoteric at an early age (This is WAY before internet- spirituality and metaphysics were still a hush-hush topics in main stream conversations.)
I came to the realm of Spirituality back in the late’s 1970’s. I was studying Science at CSU and began experiencing intense paranormal phenomena – seeing and hearing conversations, images, events just before they occurred in front of me.
I knew next to nothing about paranormal events and it was extremely disconcerting and plain old freakin’ me out! I had plans that summer to go on vacation with a friend but wasn’t sure what to do with what was happening and there was NO WAY I could tell any of my scientist friends. So I decided to cut a deal with…. Not sure how I phrased it but the deal was – if “it” would take a break while I went on vacation, I would deal with “it” when I got back. AHA! Little did I know The Universe had me right where It wanted me!
When I returned from vacation, I found out about a biochemistry professor who was teaching a class called Metaphysics 101. I spoke with him and he suggested I attend the class. I hung up the phone, the phenomena stopped happening (until many years later when I had the ability to manage the gift)… and my life took off in a very different direction than I could have ever imagined!
Stepping onto my Dream Path
One of the topics we studied in the class was dreams – I found it fascinating but rarely remembered a dream. I was determined to recall a dream. I did all the things to help recall a dream but still no remembered dream… Fortunately, I stuck with it….for 3 full months! The first dream I recalled was short and powerful. It was a Life Dream – one that you work on throughout your life. The images and energy of the dream stay with you, they guide and inform you for many years. For the next few years I diligently filled my dream journals not having a clue to what most of the dreams meant.
1982 was a significant year for me – I met my husband, got married, started a business and found my 1st dream teacher! Within weeks of starting her class I was co-teaching the class with her. I had never before met the people that came to the class yet I would tell them what their dreams meant and how it fit into their life. Something within me understood what people’s dreams meant.
Over the years, I’ve done past life regression work, numerology, tarot, energy balancing and healing work, shadow work, studied evidential mediumship, taught dream interpretation groups and individual dream work. Nature, Spirit and Life are my most profound teachers. Recently, death and dying have shown up to become my teachers. I feel they are here to teach up about the continuity of Life, how death is a season of life. Difficult until we have a deeper understanding and relationship with it.
Dealing with Depression
Alongside all this schooling and learning was my emotional reality – I struggled with deep depressions and rage.
Today….
For many years I have quietly been “doing dreams” with people – myself, family, friends, colleagues and people I’ve just met. Spirit had been urging me to teach publicly for awhile. Shortly after 2012, I inquired about teaching a class for a colleague at a local college (I was thinking a 3 hour class for one afternoon). The next thing I knew, I was on the faculty as an adjunct professor! Spirit can be tricky!!! I love teaching about dreams – what they mean in our lives, the wisdom, insights and healing they offer. Teaching has opened up whole other parts of myself. I feel so grateful and blessed to be able to share and teach about an area that I am passionate about!
Each event in my life has been a learning experience. Life is a learning experience. My perspective has shifted as I have matured and embraced the Journey we are all travelling together.
